“Climate-Smart Healthcare in Developing Countries” certificate course kicks off

“Climate-Smart Healthcare in Developing Countries“, led by Dr. Renzo R. Guinto – the Inaugural Director of the Planetary and Global Health Program (PGHP) of the St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine–William H. Quasha Memorial (SLMCCM-WHQM), kicks off last 3 September 2022. The course aims to embolden people, organizations, and institutions to redesign health systems that promote the health not just of people but also of the planet, especially in the era of climate change. The month-long course will be held for four weeks in September 2022 composed of synchronous sessions and asynchronous modules. The first day and the first synchronous session were also graced by Dr. Esperanza Alcantara Icasas-Cabral – former Department of Health (DOH) Secretary and chair of the board of Healthcare Without Harm-Southeast Asia (HCWH-SEA)!
