News: SLMCCM-WHQM is PAASCU Ready!

The St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial will soon undergo a Formal Resurvey by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) for Level 2 Accreditation of its Doctor of Medicine Program. The survey instrument for Level 2 accreditation is in accordance with those of the World Federation on Medical Education (WFME).
PAASCU Level 1 accreditation was obtained by the College in May of 2019, and almost four years and one pandemic later, receiving this Level 2 accreditation would be the next milestone for the College to further validate the quality and excellent medical education being provided by the SLMCCM-WHQM.
The 3-day PAASCU Level 2 accreditation visit happening from August 30 to September 1, 2023, would be the culmination of several months-worth of preparation by the whole SLMCCM-WHQM community, from marathon meetings, to documents gathering and Self-Survey Report generation, to mock interviews. The College’s PAASCU Office therefore wishes to thank all the administrators, faculty, associates and students for all their hard work, cooperation and patience in order to meet this goal of being Level 2 accredited. Through all of these past months and the effort invested by everyone involved in preparation, we could safely say that the SLMCCM-WHQM is now PAASCU ready!
