Sportsfest 2025

Events | October 13, 2025

The St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine–William H. Quasha Memorial (SLMCCM–WHQM) once again came alive with energy, teamwork, and friendly competition during the Sportsfest 2025, held from October 13–17, 2025.

Organized by the Association of the General Assembly (AG), this year’s Sportsfest carried the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition as students, faculty, and staff came together across multiple venues — including the Amoranto Sports Complex, QC Sports Club, and SLMCCM grounds — to compete in a range of athletic and e-sports events.

The opening ceremony set an electrifying tone, marked by the Mr. and Ms. Lukan presentation and a symbolic torch lighting that officially opened the games. Over five days, athletes from each batch showcased their skills and teamwork in basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickleball, table tennis, football, and e-sports such as Mobile Legends and Valorant.

Back-to-Back Champions: Batch 2028

After a week of thrilling matches and close scores, Batch 2028 emerged as the back-to-back overall champion with a total of 35 points, narrowly edging out Batch 2029, which finished with 34 points, and Batch 2030, who placed third with 32 points. The faculty team, CIMFAST, rounded out the leaderboard with a commendable showing.

The Sportsfest culminated in the “Gabi ng Pasasalamat”, an evening of gratitude, storytelling, and celebration that brought together the entire Lukan community. Highlights included performances, recognition of outstanding athletes, and moments that honored the College’s legacy of unity and excellence.

From the courts to the classrooms, Sportsfest 2025 reflected the true heart of SLMCCM–WHQM — a community built on perseverance, teamwork, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Congratulations to all athletes, organizers, and champions who made Sportsfest 2025 a resounding success!
