YL3 medical students presented their paper at the 43rd Philippine College of Occupational Medicine Annual National Convention

| July 20, 2022

Two research papers, the output of two groups of medical students in their Preventive and Community Medicine subject (taken in their SECOND year at St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – WHQM), were chosen to be presented at the 43rd Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM) Annual National Convention held virtually last March 22-26, 2022.

Maria Clara S.  Pascua and Immah Marie R. Pineda, and Aaron Jade D. Capuno, THIRD-year medical students then (now CLERKS), presented their respective papers entitled “Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Conditions Among Long Distance Provincial Drivers in the Philippines: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study” and “Prevalence and Pattern of Occurrence of Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors Among Medical Interns and Trainees of St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City” on behalf of their groups.

Congratulations to the two groups (see their names on the posters above) and their adviser, Dr. Edmyr M. Macabulos!  Your SLMCCM family is proud of you!
