Pediatrics

Together with the SLMC- Institute of Pediatrics and Child Health, the College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics aims to address the needs of different medical learners: medical students including interns, residents, fellows and healthcare professionals seeking continuing medical education (CME).

The Department of Pediatrics is a dynamic group of dedicated pediatricians committed to shaping future doctors in shaping future doctors with innovation, compassion and excellence. With a faculty roster composed of general pediatricians and a wide range of specialists, the Department is a committed team that collaborates seamlessly in providing the best, most comprehensive and up-to-date pediatric knowledge and practices in order to deliver quality medical education.

As educators, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of doctors. Our faculty members are mentors who inspire and guide students, residents, and fellows to excel in their careers and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Aside from focusing on clinical practice and research, the Department is also a staunch champion for child health advocacy and community outreach. Our faculty actively engages with local communities through health education initiatives, public health campaigns, and partnerships that promote wellness and prevent childhood illnesses.
